Well, not much of a hurdle. It’s just I’ll be temping for the next two weeks and likely won’t have the time and energy to complete my first draft as I did when I had more free time. If I do spend whatever free time I will have, I’ll be wearing myself out. Even the weekends I’ll busy with errands, chores and my writing group meets this Saturday. So, I’ll have to be more careful on how I spend my time.
But I’m sure I’m finish before my March 1st deadline. Also I’ve got 10 chapters and 115 pages done, and I’m getting closer to my final page. I’m predicting my first draft will reach about 200 pages and my final draft will be about 250. I could be wrong and end up surprised, but I’m just glad I don’t have a novella on my hands.

Happy hurdling! er… temping. I returned to my old job last month, and it’s been a bear trying to keep up with my writing.
Hey Megan…
Good luck with your goals… have fun at your writer group, too! I am hoping to find one near me after April.
Temping can be as good for the muse as not. I hope your two weeks are good for you on so many levels. And have fun there. I used to love temping.
